Why does a redirect error occur on Blogger?
Let me tell you, this is the reason you're experiencing this issue on Blogger. Literally, what's the point of adding this conical tag?
Why are you getting so upset? I'm telling you how the conical tag even works.
Look, this conical tag won't do anything for your redirect issue. It simply identifies this particular page. This is the URL and its particular XYZ content. It won't say, "Brother, you're being redirected, and you're getting the same conical tag, sorry, same conical link, in this particular redirect." This doesn't solve the redirect. Okay? Just put it out of your mind. I've seen people in multiple videos tell me to go and paste the conical tag. It's already in Google. You can see that here you're getting the conical tag, and the URL is your particular main URL, without parameterization. So, it's not creating any impact. Okay? So, put this aside. Your main motive should be to get your article indexed.
Will the problem be solved if the question mark M = 1 is removed?
Look, this isn't possible permanently. We've even removed and replaced it in our Blogger theme. But it's not getting removed from the back end. It's getting removed from the client side. Meaning, it's only getting removed for us, not for Google bots or anyone else. It's only for us personally. So, remove it from your place so it can be solved. Well, put everything aside for now and get to the point. I'll tell you two methods for this, so you can solve it easily. With the first method, you can do it easily and simply without making any changes. Just go to your Search Console and see which URL is causing the issue. I'll show you the exact thing on your computer screen so you can understand exactly how I'm doing it. This is the first time I'm not making any changes. I think that if I use this step, it will be solved directly. And if this doesn't work, then we will definitely use the second step. But it is easier to do this before that, so it is better to do this. Okay, so we have come to our website, and this is our website on which we do blogging for Blogger. And guys, this theme is our own created theme. If you want to purchase, then use the link in the description. You can directly check out all the features. Look, first of all, it is SEO friendly. Each of your articles will be indexed very easily, which I guarantee. We have implemented every single SEO thing in it, which is important for a website and a crawler.
Step 1
We need to go to the indexing section of Search Console. Look in the "Redirect Errors" section, I've got a lot of redirect errors. Now we need to copy the URL. And if you hover over it, you'll see a search icon here. Inspect it and it will retrieve the data. Now, I'll explain exactly what to do.
Step 2
Look, the first thing you see here is our normal URL. This means there are no question marks added to it. This is not a parameterized URL. It's a normal URL, and it's showing a redirect error. Now, I already mentioned that a redirect error occurs only when a parameterized URL is added to it. This means that whenever a particular person opens it, it redirects to another URL. This is our redirect issue. To solve this problem, simply enter this URL and go to your Blogger's settings page. You'll find the "Errors and Redirects" section. Click on "Custom Redirects." Then, click on the "Add" button. From, meaning where to redirect. And one more thing people often make when adding, is to not enable this "permanent" checkbox. If you enable this, anyone who opens it on their phone won't be able to open it, and they'll get stuck in a loop. The website won't open at all. A new issue will arise, and the page will crash. So, what will we do for now? We'll enter the parameterized URL in this "from" section. Simply paste it in, and cut this main URL. Where do we cut it? Just remove this domain and it will become 2025. That means, we'll put it in the current year, and then completely insert it. And finally, you already know that we need to redirect from our parameterized URL to a normal URL. So, we'll add a question mark M = 1 here. And now, we'll copy the above and paste it exactly here, and remove the question mark M = 1.
